Default home made camera mount

went "around the block" and heres a little more vid i took today. took it up to 80mph in a couple of spots. a little vibration but i think i can get rid of that with a slight modification. there are a couple of shots that may be useless (clutching, shifting) but i like them for my videos.

YouTube - frame slider camera mount

please leave feedback and lemme know what yall think.

Pretty ingenious!! But...I hate to be a doom sayer but what if you crash or knock the bike over? I'd worry about other bikes getting too close (if you were riding in a group or on the track) or cars for that matter. How far does it stick out from your bike?

i actually only sticks out barely farther than my leg. and if i crash, the camera is the least of my worries, lol. im actually working on a way to mount a piece of plexiglass in front of it, but still be able to swivel it, to prevent rocks from hitting it.

Interesting. I've been trying to think of a simple way to mount my camera and this gives me some ideas. I was actually planning to remove one of the mirrors and fabricate a mount that bolts on in place of it.

Ok two things, as much as I like your mount, you can pick up a suction cup one from amazon.com for 25 dollars, so you wont have to worry about makign a screen for the one you got,
second thing, your wearing tennis shoes. Ya should be slapped, at least wear some 25 dollar walmart leather boots man, you hit some debre's, in sneakers and bye bye toes.
