Stinks you had problems. I can't complain about mine, recently installed a Puig racing screen on my FZ and it fit perfectly. I also really like the improved angle of air flow up and around me when sitting upright instead of right in the chest.
Hopefully you'll have better luck with another brand.

That's too bad. Stay away from memphis shades. I have one of their gradient smoke screens on my bike. It took an hour to install it because the mounting slats were too thick and had to be dremeled down. Once installed, the screen kept it's gradient black for about a month before the tint turned into what looks like alligator scales. Foo.

Yeah, I'm not too happy with my double bubble from Hotbodies...have a 3mm gap between the screen and the fairing. {when stock it was flush obviously}

...The thing that noobs don't get is that bikes aren't cars. With a car, more or less, you're as fast as your wallet allows. A bike is far more skill oriented. Way more. It's like skiing. You could go buy the fastest race skis available, but if you don't know how to ski, all you're going to do is crash. Its the same, exactly the same with bikes.
