Shrug, maybe. I could really care less about a few HP here and there. With that said, Yamaha rates my bike at 123 crank HP. It made 103hp on a dynojet at stock and 106hp on the same dyno with a Scorpion slip on. If crank HP is true, thats pretty damn close to 130 for my 03. 06+ R6's seem to make around 5hp or so more on the dyno than my bike.

FE kit? Like a Powercommander? Hmm, don't know. What would the advantages versus cost be? Is it worth it? 400 bucks for a few ponies?

I'm pretty gullable so.......talk me into it!!

And R6s have always been awesome! The reason I didn't buy one is that I'm a tall guy and the seating position, like Suzuki, is very compact.

FE = Fender Eliminator. Something to get rid of those giant blinkers and tuck your plate under the tail more. Cleans up the appearance. I'm surprised your Two Bros didn't come with one. Mine did.

Oh, like a Comptetition Werkes. I already looked at them for my bike. Honda designed my bike so the entire back peice comes off with two bolts. Great idea if you want to race it, otherwise I'm stuck with the big brake light.

The FE kit does NOT remove the turnsignals and will not tuck the plate under anymore than you can see in the pictures above but the kit costs 120.00 dollars. It's NOT worth it. I've already checked it out.

My bad, I was thinking of my bike. I also have an integrated tail light to get rid of the stock blinkers. I was getting myself confused. That's what I get for trying to quit coffee this week!

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the "race ready" set up that Honda has made. But, if I did track days each weekend then I would be able to see some benifit. But that big tail light hanging down is a pain in the butt. I know that there are people, some are associates, that can jam an 05 tail light in their and remove the turn signals but it looks "jimmy rigged". I'm sure that someone will come out with some cool aftermarket piece soon that I'll be able to buy and resolve that problem.

I am on the lookout and will wait patiently for this piece. If you know of one, I'm all ears

Clear Alternatives: CBR600 / 600RR

Its the one on the left with the blue lens. Thankfully it comes in clear and smoke also. I don't know why they still have blinkers attached though. It should function like the one on the right.

Yes, but this is my dilema. Here is the integrated rear light for the 07 CBR. It doesn't relocate it above the exhaust and doesn't do away with the lower hanging piece.

Clear Alternatives: (INTEGRATED) 07 CBR600RR

The other ones that they show are for the 06 model.

What I need is a "rear brake light relocator kit"

Just tape the license plate to your back when you're riding!

The fender is not easy to eliminate on the 07 CBR. In order to eliminate the fender, you must cut the rear cowling and insert a brake light above the exhaust. But, there is not much room there. It's not a simple task, even for an aftermarket piece. I believe that is why nobody has made one yet.

Honda's idea to make the tail piece removable in 5 seconds was a good idea for people that race their bikes each weekend but ride them during the week.

But the percentage of people that actually do that is very very small.

Overall, Honda's idea was a mistake. Perhaps their intentions were good, but they were wrong and I'm sure the next 600rr model will not have this feature.

But, I'm stuck with it and it's the only thing I don't like about the bike.

Perhaps I can take it to a good fabricating guy and have him install a tail light above the exhaust.

I'll figure out something but I'm in no super rush to do it. After all, I don't see the darn tail light when I'm riding the bike
