I thought it looked like a great deal i would have bought if i hadnt just bought my first bike. A R1 would be to much for me but i wouldnt be able to pass that deal up.

looks like too good of a deal. who the hell sells a R1 with low milage and has some after market parts for under 3000 grand? The bike could be stolen ,salvaged or someone is hard up for cash.

Email him and ask where the bike is located and where he is located. Most likely over seas, I'm not saying that it is a scam but most likely.

Scam Scam Scam. The scams are always just under 3000. Usually 2900. I wonder if anything over 3000 puts it into a new "category" of crime.

I responded to a similar posting on Pittsburgh's craiglist. I got a response today for a suzuki 2002 katana 750 for $2980 in mint condition.

Eh, you'd be surprised how many bikes i've seen sold under 3k when they are worth 4k+
