Red face help me decide on my next bike

a little background.
im 22, been riding a kawasaki ex 500 for about a year and 3mths.
have about 9.5k miles under my belt.
i ride every single day in traffic, but on the weekends i go out with buddies and ride the twisties (yes theres twisties in florida, you just have to find them)
i know how to hangle my lil 500, so dont think im a no0b.
i dont think im a bad ass rider or anything, but i have some experence
i got old of the ex500 within 3mths, after about 5, i got full exhaust, HEAVY jetkit, -1 tooth in the frount, and performance tires.

due to finacial problems, i havent been able to get a new bike.
but pretty soon, ill be out of rough waters.
i ride my bike every single day, no matter the wheather, if you havent figured it out, i dont have a car, i just ride my lil 500.
i ride my bike pretty hard, but becase of the 55hp, you can rev the crap out of it.

im looking for a bike i can live with every single day.
and something ill be HAPPY WITH!!!
i hate my bike, i really do, im glad i have a bike, and such, but i just cant really stand this one.

i want a bike that has some more power, better look's, better sound, suspention, easyer to live with every day, etc etc.

so far this is what i have figured

i have about 4 bikes i wanna get

the hard part is deciding whitch one would be best for me

choices are

sv1000
Buell Xb12
zx10
ha-ya-busa

i have my resons for each bike

sv1000
twin engine(LOVE twins), i-4 600 power, but with low end torque/power.

buell xb12
twin engine(love twins!) not as fast as sv1000, or 600's, but is VERY unique, and sounds amazing

zx10
bad ass 1000.....nuff said (2004-2005)

ha-ya-busa
a bike i could NEVER out grow, is the best looking bike ive seen, super comfy, just all around bike that i could see myself having untill IT gave up..... and would make me the happyest to own

and they all have there bad things

sv1000
kinda really ugly, and a small motorcycle. i hear the clutch's go out pretty offten

buellxb12
power is kinda low, small power move up from my bike, physically small bike, get ribbed alot for riding a "harley"

zx10
bad knees so being so uncomfertable would suck riding every day, high insurance, wheelie crazy (kinda good and bad) and might be to much bike for me more so then the busa (zx10 would wheelie way way more then the busa)

hayabusa
NOT unique at all, see them all the time, and might be to much bike for me (nothing about this bike i dont really like !)

so hopefully i wont get flamed to much, and i will get some good convo out of this.

id be pretty much happy on anything other then my bike, but i want something ill be happy with, and i can keep for a long time

but any more questions about me, to help you guys help me, just let me know.

I don't think the Buell would be a good daily driver.

The other bikes seem too big coming from a 500. I think you should have at least one intermediate bike before going to a 1000.

I can't help you much with the bikes, but I thought I'd remind you that the SVS has a fairing kit that makes it look like an SS, might change your opinion...

The busa/zx14/zx10/xb12 seem to be a bit excessive coming directly from a 500. Maybe an intermediate step, like a 600ss or something.

If you're riding everyday and want to stay comfortable, go with something along a sport touring / standard line. Stay away from an SS like the ZX-10R. The SV1K isn't a bad idea... I had a 650 for a year, and it was a pretty good all-around bike. Like the above poster said, if you don't like the looks, spend another $500 and get the fairing set... looks like a whole new bike.

Also check out the Honda VFR or Triumph Sprint ST 1050. Both are a very nice step up in power from the Ninja, while not quite at modern literbike levels of power (100hp for the VFR, 130ish for the Sprint, I think). Both are all-day comfortable, and come with optional factory hardbags--if this is really your only mode of transportation, extra storage space should be very valuable to you. They also both look great, and are uncommon enough that alot of people don't know what they are... I get people (fellow riders!) asking me what my bike is all the time.

I'm really not familar with Buells, so I can't speak to those... go test ride one, see if you like it, and be sure to get the free messenger bag! You also might want to check out the FZ6/FZ1--powerful, comfy, and cheap, but they're both I-4 screamers and half faired, so you might not like those as much. Good luck with the search!

I'm not gonna preach at ya about going from a 500 to a litre+ bike; I went from a 53hp cruiser to my ZZR1200 after 1 year and 10,000 miles so I'm in no position to lecture you. If you are mature beyond your years, have your ego under control, are no longer making any dumbass noob control input errors, and are no longer having "close calls", then you probably have the physical capability to skip the 600 class. Wether or not you have the discipline and self control to handle it, well, only you can answer that.

If you are considering the 'busa, do yourself a favor and look at the ZX-14 too. Nevermind that it's a "busa killer" (that's totally irrelevant anywhere but a dragstrip); it's newer tech, has better brakes, and has an amazingly smooth, user-friendly engine. IMO it's a much better looking bike too, but obviously that's totally subjective.

The only thing I'd like to input is about the Buell. A good friend of mine had one and he said that it was the most fun bike he's ever owned. BUT, it was in the shop more than it was on the road. Just something to consider if it's going to be your ONLY transportation.

I would get a 600SS or a SV650. The liters are a bit of a jump, and you will NOT be bored on a 600. I really like the SVs though, they don't have the craziness of a I4 but they are VERY, VERY fun bikes, great to ride.

It is a surprisingly fast bike after the new exhaust, air filter and chips were put on, and sounds better too. The stock seat is a bit rough after two hours or so. It's wierd though, HD riders give me shit for riding something that looks like a "crotch-rocket" and some sport-bike riders give me shit for having a V-Twin. Oh well, i say fuck'em cause i love the damn thing, even if I cant get it past 150mph. . . . . . . yet But if can afford it, seriously look at a Busa, damn those are fast, beautiful,GORGEOUS bikes

You live in Florida, so being afraid of a liter bike isn't as big a deal as it would be in other states.

You're not going to outgrow a twitchy 600, either, so I wouldn't use that criterion.

Good luck, man.

Get the Sv they are fun as hell, I use mine for primary transportation. The 650 and 1000 have the same 0-60 but the 1000 will do 90 in 2nd gear, It's a fun tourquey bike and is gonna be cheaper than the rest.
