ok so i bought my bike like two weeks ago and i'm just wondering how good of a deal i got. 1996 cbr f3 with vance and hines slip on carbon fiber pipe, newish pirelli tires, -1 tooth in the front. i paid 2000 oh yeah has 31k on it

$2K? That ain't bad. Assuming it has no obvious turds in its punchbowl; it's a Honda...'nuff said. 30k is broken in and not much more. Put 20,000 miles on it and sell it for $1700. My old Hurricane (That's a CBR F1 for you young'ens out there) is still today a much better bike than I will ever be a rider.
The entire CBR lineup is nothing but good, honest machinery. Japanese engineering at its finest. Hook up onto a CBR-specific web forum...there's lots of knowledge to be had on this line.

sounds like a good deal, as long as the engine still pulls. Those F3's were pretty bullit proof, so if she was taken care of, it would be a good deal. Whats the body like? Hows she run?

ive looked into cbr specific forums and trust me, there aren't very many people that still ride the old bikes...most have 99+ models
