Default wtf? wtf wtf? what are cagers thinking?

I'm stopped at a light today, behind a car, i'm not splitting the lane because there's a right i need to make, and don't want to cut anyone off to do it.

We're at a dead stop, and the cager in front of me puts it into reverse and RAMS me and the bike i'm on (my friend's K5). I'm so confused as to why he did this. I didn't antogonize him before, i wasn't splitting his lane, i was just sitting behind him waiting for the light!

I ride up next to him and try to see what the hell is his problem. He alleges i rolled into his car, and that i'm trying to mess up his beater POS. That's funny because i saw his reverse lights light up. I thought maybe he was tryign to get into another lane, or something, but it turns out he was doing it to fuck with me.

The damage on the bike wasn't bad, the front fender is broken, and his car looked fine, but it pissed me off because he didn't pull over, AND he was talking shit. I went to the sheriff's station to see what could be done, and so now i'm wondering if i should press charges or just let it go.

What would you guys do? think i could get an assault charge pinned on this guy? keep in mind i'd rather not waste my time in a courtroom when there's money to be made, and no real damage was done to the bike or me.

No matter what, you should file a report. If you don't, you could be charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

Dude...file charges or hunt him down and kick his ass (sounds like you have his plate number)! It's a matter of principal. That was assault, plain and simple, dude. The damage may not have been great, but YOU still have to pay for it, if you let him get away with it. You could've been seriously hurt. He deserves whatever you dish out to him, dude.

If you had a cell phone on you, you should have pulled over to the side and called the police.

Wow, that's pretty fucked.

1.) Take his ass down like the sack of shit he is.

2.) Try to get whatever charge to stick.

This is dangerous behavior and he will do it other bikers - maybe it won't end as well next time. Do you have anything on him? Plate number?

File a report at minimum.

If it were me, and if I had the time, I'd start looking at the situation harder depending on how pissed I was. Perhaps a traffic light at the intersection? More than one credible witness? Did you get a tag? I'd definitely look into it, hell, even talk to a lawyer if you're really on it. What a douchebag.

Front sight, trigger press, bang. Repeat as needed.

That driver would have been spitting teeth.

Press charges against the asshole before he does this to someone else.
I wonder...some states put cameras at lights. Not sure if they just trigger if someone runs through the lights or not.
Glad you're o.k..
