Default The most important street skill?

There are many important skills we use everyday for staying safe while riding on the street, but is there one skill that you guys feel is the most important? What is it?

I think pretty much all of them are important, but I like braking...knowing the limits of your bike in terms of braking can get you out of some crazy stuff. Heck just knowing how to brake on a corner can help in an emergency situation, or help in traffic.

Situational awareness, in my opinion, will save you from all the other morons in cages that refuse to look for bikes. By situational awareness, I mean to always be looking out for those that are not paying attention, the side streets looking for someone that may try to pull out in front of you, the mom talking on the cell phone looking around frantically like she is trying to pull in somewhere, etc...... Those situations, if you can avoid them, are the ones that everyone bitches about on a regular basis, and if you train yourself to ALWAYS be looking out, you can avoid problems most of the time.

I would say looking fashionable, then comes wheelies, stoppies, burn outs and crashing with confidence....

It's hard to choose, since they are all important, but if I have to choose, I'll say:

The ability to quickly and properly react to changing road/traffic/weather conditions.
