Default Underseat exhaust on an F3...

I've been trying to find out more about this because I have a 600rr exhaust sitting in my garage, waiting to get put on, but I wanted to hear if anyone else had any experience with doing it before I shell out the cash to have a custom pipe routed up there...

BTW, I've searched it to death...lol.

IMO, an f3 would not look good with an undertail exhaust

A better idea for a custom exhaust on the f3:

Have a muffler made so it can be put under the bike, and run a pipe out of the muffler with a slash cut ending riight behind the right rearset (like the gsxr and r6)

Make it easy on yourself and use the 600RR swingarm and stuff too...........otherwise you end up making a mess of trying to get the pipes around the arm and into the tail.

my friend with an 06 R6 put that Akropovic megaphone tip (thats the best way i can think to describe it) and it looks pretty sweet. Got rid of the obtrusive bulge that was the muffler down there. it looks nice and clean and really isn't much louder than stock cause there is still the cat underneath the bike to quieten it down.

I've seen that F2 on other boards. It's super clean. I actually thought about doing one of those stubby exhausts, but I honestly think that the underseat would look cleaner...

600rr swingarm would be sweet, too, but it's too much work. Maybe later.

the 600RR arm isnt any work compared to making pipes that route around the arm and under the tail.

If youre willing to do the fab for that...............the arm is cake.

I like the idea of a shorty exhaust instead of an undertail. I just think the thought of an undertail is not that good looking.
