Those are most likely retail prices, and the guy probably worked at a shop and didnt pay nearly that much. Even still, that seems a bit low. My question is: why list all of those ridiculous mods and not even list a weight for the bike? The builder was either a poser or a total weight weenie, so I'm sure they must have set it on the scales at some point.

Excellent point! You would think he might even show it ON the scale....Even if he paid a third of retail, 10k, that would still mean the bike cost the 10k in upgrades plus the bike??? Anyone have any other ideas?

I am pretty sure I know exactly where that bike shop is. I drove by it daily for years. Considering the area that it is in, in MD (not a good area) the owner was probably driving it illegaly and eventually had to sell it.
That bike has been beaten like a stubborn mule and has probably had multiple owners, all who traded it off once they had to get hard plates and pay insurance on it. That is one area I would never buy a used bike from.
The shop does the maryland state inspection itself so the brag about it is up in the air. I'm sure it works, thats what md state inspection is about. Its not leaking or dripping anything and turns on but the inspection has dozens of points about things like lisence plate illuminators and etc so I'd take that with a grain of salt as well.
it reminds me of a retired porn star, all kinds of money put into her for some neet upgrates, but not worth shit in the end, and you never know how loose she is till you try her out.
