Default Good riding today!

Well, today was about as nice of a day as you could get, other than the damned wind. But that aside, I went out and put 107 miles on the little ninja today, which is a lot for basically around town and playing on what few twisty streets there are in town here. Anyone else put alot of miles on today?

I'm glad somebody got a chance to ride today. Its been raining here for nearly 4 days straight and looks like it is going to keep it up for a couple more days. Life sucks right now.

I put 160 miles on my bike on Friday...today, I drove home from East Tennessee and went to see the in-laws for Mother's Day.

I feel your pain bro! The last 2 weeks here it has rained about 8 days and I was very sick for about a week as well, so I hadn't gotten to do much riding, it has to quit raining sometime, I will pray to the motorcycle gods that next week will see dry weather all week for all bikers everywhere!

I appreciate that. Yeah watching the motogp today put me in the mood to go riding and i looked outside and it just started to rain. Talk about putting a damper on a good mood.

I too put about 100 miles on the 250 today. It was 80 degrees today in Vancouver.....I'm not used to this heat!

are you talking about the 250CC race in Shanghai? If so, that is what fired me up to. We have a few streets that have worthy curves, still working on building my confidence and abilities, I think though once I have some better gear and decent tires I should be able to push them a little harder.....

I took a loop to the coast and back, about 130 miles on my 250 . Had some fun on the twisty backroads, I was getting pretty comfortable with leaning decently in the turns...

Also discovered that my helmet has a pressure point on my forehead, giving me an intense headache after about an hour. Doh. Next size up maybe?

Is it a new helmet? Mine did the same thing for about a week when it was brand new, I thought I made a mistake in buying it, but after I got it broke in, no more problems... what type of helemt though??

Yeah if it is new it should get better, also out of curiosity, is this pressure point on the right temple kinda towards the top? That is where mine bothered me, I have a fulmer, looking to move up to an HJC with flip up chin gaurd when I have the cash.
As you sweat in it and what not the foam will compact a little and it will get looser.

Nope, directly in the center of my forehead, right about my hairline...its like the liner of the helmet itself is pushing into my forehead and that gives me a headache..

Sucks too, because everything else fits nicely...it's just my damn forehead.

I wish I could ride. Its been raining for 5 days, and its not supposed to end till Tuesday. Luckily, we're supposed to get a good few days of great weather. I have my BRC on Saturday and Sunday, so I'm praying for good weather then as well.

Good deal, glad you are taking the MSF course, I took mine Apr. 7-9, had NO experience on a bike prior to that, I think you will find it helps ALOT. Best of luck to you, and as posted earlier I will be praying to the motorcycle gods for fair weather!
