Girl: No its not. Please, its too scary!
Guy: Then tell me you love me.
Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down!
Guy: Now give me a BIG hug.
*Girl hugs him*
Guy: Can you take my helmet off & put it on yourself? its bugging me.
(In the paper the next day):
A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of break failure. 2 people were on it, but only 1 survived.
*The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his brakes broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him & felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.

What I had to say in reply...
One- That rider obviously never heard of Engine braking. Motorcycles do them VERY well.
Two- Regardless of speed, its almost impossible to hear someone talking when you're riding a motorcycle.
Three- That guy is a moron for having ONE helmet for two people. Not so bright.
So in closing, that exert is seriously flawed. Just thought I'd share.

I agree complete bullshit. Rear brake, front, brake and engine brake, damn even an engine cut off switch would have made that bike stop easily. Also, bikes are loud no way can you talk to one another while on it. Second, how can you take off your helmet and and pass it on to the passenger while still moving? Please this is pathetic.

This is one of those stupid stories girls pass around on the internet to show how sweet the guy was.
Just a work of fiction.

I agree.... There is no way they were talking and passing a helmet at speed. That means they must have been stopped. If the guy knew there was a problem with his brakes he just got for being stupid enough to risk both of their lives by going again. If it's true... RIP.... but i highly doubt it.

If he loved her that much, why did he have the only helmet in the first place?

If its true that he couldn't stop he would hvae had to been going more than 100 which means 1 he wouldn't of been able to talk to her and 2 she wouldn't of been able to let go of him in order to put on the helmet. Not to mention the fact that if he was going at lets say a brick wall with no brakes he woulda been smart enough to lay the bike down.

And the fact that even trying to take off a helmet while riding would 1. Make him lose vision of the road, and 2. Prbably move his head around enough to actually cause a crash, and 3. Any rider whos been riding more than 5 minutes knows downshifting will slow you down in an emergency. BS

Yeah, its a fictional story. I tried to tell the people that we're saying they were tearing up from reading the story how it made ZERO sense. It's probably actually the dumbest story I've ever heard now that I think about it.
