Suspension could do with a little bit of work on my bike. As soon as I get some cash I'm finding myself a new fork (maybe gixxer front end?) and shock (maybe if I can find the elusive money tree I may be able to afford a penske).. New tires would also rock, and maybe down a tooth or two in the back, and a Scott's damper upfront.

My bike rails around corners now, and I'm still too new at riding to bother riding to the point where I'd push my suspension and tires to their limits often, but at the same time I'm beginning to touch those limits every now and then on some rides with some serious twisties. Compared to runs on my friend's bikes, where the suspension seems stiffer and more planted when the bike is really leaned over. I think after another season (and a couple month's pay) the SV is gonna get some serious wrenching done to her to make her a perfect bike for the twisties

I'd like a radar proof paintjob, kinda like on the stealth bomber
Otherwise, just making it new again would be great.
Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing.

i woulda liked some more low end torque on my R6 but it wasnt that big of a deal. maybe some sort of flamethrower out of the ram air wouldve been nice too.

The ability to install frame sliders and spools without having to drill holes.

Displacement. I'd like a 750 or 1k.

Switch my D&D for any pipe other than the stock one.

I have a Vance and Hines S4 Stainless that I took of my old 99 R6, It is scratched and bent from when I wrecked it but I will sell it to you for CHEAP!

I would want a full akrapovic carbon high mount.

Where to start....

More power.
Closer and higher clip-ons.
Adjustable front suspension.
Ohlins out back, Dan Kyle up front.
More power.

Riding isn't only about the scratching on a Sunday morning. Sometimes it's about the 400 mile ride on Saturday to get to where you'll be scratching on Sunday morning with a 400 mile ride home that evening.

I'd change the requirement for valve adjustments from every 7500 miles, to NEVER on my 9R. The valves are quite a bit of work to get to and with 30,000 miles on it in <3 seasons, I'm rather tired of doing the work.

On that note; I feel bad for those folks that bought V-Tech VFRs. Wow, what a horrible valve adjustment procedure on that bike!

I'd also like an 8 gallon gas tank. I have to fill it every other day right now.

You have a ZX-9R? They require valve clearance checks every 7500 miles? Wow...

I feel blessed. The owner's manual for the XX says check it at 16,000 miles, but it's a running joke on the XX forums that the valves never need to be adjusted. No point in checking it unless you're bored.

Yep, a 2001 model. In 2002 they changed to a 15,000 mile interval but they didn't change the engine at all. It's only required one adjustment in 30,000 miles so perhaps it can go longer. It is a big pain to do.
