I can get a new bike in 2 years (post wreck)
Final outcome
Well in talking to the wife. She has no problem if I wait 2 years before I get a new bike now.
Recap and reminder I was the guy that posted not to long ago about wrecking while practicing wheelies and landed in a coma for 8 days and re-hab for 2 months.
All wrecks will be off my insurance and driving record. Now all I have to do is drive wreck free for 2 years. It is going to be a challenge living in Dallas.
As far as the MSF class goes. I will wait to almost the 2 years until the time is up and then take the class. If I take it now I feel that it won’t be as fresh on my mind.

I think 2 years is plenty of time for consideration of all the pros and cons as well.

I don't know....you really don't sound too confident even in typing. Are you really ready to come back?
If you do, I hope you respect the bike and leave all that wheelie, stoppie mumbo jumbo to the other people that either know or don't knwo what they are doing.
Regardless, good luck.

Your right and I will leave the stunting to others. I mean how many riders have not had some sort of spill at one time or another.
Mine was just not a small spill.
I will never be like this idiot.

PS this is a 180 meg file so bandwith good to have if you want to watch an asshole splitting cars.

Hehe, dude I had my fair share of spills. Lemme share.
1984 750 Interceptor- dropped while leaning...only at 30 mph!
1980KZ1000 dropped cause of car running me off the road.
1990 CBR600 Dropped cause I hit a hard pot hole while leaning.
I guess after you fall a few times, you remember what NOT to do, also realizing how expensive bikes are these days, thats kind of an incentive as well.
Again, good luck.

Or, get an old recked bike and take it to the track, that way you are not riding on the street, you can take your time, and keep your skills up to date....that would be my option....
Good idea staying off the street though....hope you feel better...
