Default AlpineStars 2 PC Leathers, Boots AND Gloves. $499 for the Pagkage

Okay, so what we have here is a 2 piece Alpinestars setup in red/white/black. Get this out of the way up front...this suit is NOT for skinny little beanpoles with 24 hours worth of reserve fat on them. It is for your average American. Includes a pair of A*'s Track Pants at 40" waist x 30" inseam plus an A-Stars GP-Plus leather jacket in US Size 50. These sizes, translated, mean it is good for your typical middle aged guy or for a yoot who enjoys his video games and burgers and has some excess middle impact armor built in and is not 6'5" tall (more like 5'9). Both zipper together to make a 2 piece suit and a cold weather liner is included.

Jacket is size 50 (euro 60) and should accomodate a 45-47" chest and 33-35" sleeves (dress shirt size)...and you still have room for a back protector. I've only had these a very short time...bought them from another guy who likewise had them for only a short time then ran out of money. They've never been down and don't have a mark on them other than a bit of road grime around the legs where the white part of the leather is. There is NO suit funk. They are comfortable and fit well. So why sell them? Because I'm wanting to get a Motoport GP-1 Kevlar Suit and my bike is Yellow and these are red. Shallow, I know but what the hell, I have the money. Also, while this fits me well, I want something custom tailored and that can be altered in case 5 years from now I've given into the temptations of more yummy restaurant food and still wish to breath.

Suit and pants have factory A*'s armor installed.

To go along with the suit, you'll also get a pair of A*'s SMX-4 boots in the matching red/black in a size 9 AND a pair of A*'s SP2 Gloves...also matching in XL. The boots are a good mixture, not extreme combat gear, but good levels of protection and you can still walk in them. Besides which, I had already purchased a brand new pair of SMX-5 boots in black when I ran across this deal and find myself with two pair. Far be it from me to give up on the joys and discomfort of breaking in a new pair of boots so they'll be included.

Yes, you too can be middle aged and look like one of the young'uns...only with money, common sense and reserves to get you thu a few more weeks in case society ever crashes into anarchy. If you can't find a set of leathers that actually freaking FIT you because they are all designed for emaciated Italians or testosterone laden 18 year old metalheads...here is your setup without actually having to pay $1000 plus for a custom suit. Entire rig sold new for $1100. Selling the complete getup for $499 plus shipping. You can call me at 360-312-4236. Paypal or credit cards are fine...just kick in the extra 2%.

Nope...only beanpole skinny anorexics whose idea of breakfast is a cigarette and a diet coke need not apply. The REST of us average guys (i.e. genetically ideal for survival in a cold environment) need something to wear too and the leather companies are more than happy to NOT make it easy to buy. HA! Just WAIT until you young whippersnappers hit your mid 40's!
Oh, and 5'9 and size 8 1/2 ARE the average, ya friggin big footed flagpoles!

Colloquial term for somebody who is too damned skinny to last more than a few days once society collapses into anarchy. In ancient times, they would be known as an appetizer to a predator. Not sure why they would need leather...they would just skim across the pavement with air holding them up. In the spirit of Jeff Foxworthy...

If your total daily caloric intake is lower than the calorie count on any single menu item at McDonalds, you might be a beanpole.

If you are legal enough to vote and must shop in the youth department, you might be a beanpole.

If you have to install lower spring rates on an Aprilia 125, you might be a beanpole.

If an Italian GP Racer cries out "eat something for Christ's sake" when you walk past, you might be a beanpole.

Oh, and yes the gear is still for sale. Duck is being painted so no use on them since the last post.

Wow, I'm sensing some hostility towards lean people here. You sure you don't want to be skinny?

Absolutely not... it's kind of like when really "straight" guys bash on gays. It only means that the straight guys are completely comfortable with their sexuality.

Nah...I'm happy. My build will never see a 30" waist unless there were a famine and I had some bone loss. Even when I was on the tennis team in high school and water ski'd all summer I wasn't as thin as many of the suits out there require you to be. I'm happy being in my 40's. I do stretches and calisthenics every morning and my wife is a vegetarian so I actually eat very healthy, just built big. If you look thru the size catalogs from most motorcycle clothing companies, the sportbike gear is distinctly sized towards those leaning more towards being emaciated than average. Its a conspiracy man!

Perhaps, but that's just revenge for everything else being sized for the "average" American in the department stores. I gotta pay double for work clothes than someone who is a size 38!
