FZR600 A diamond in the ruff. Looking for a good starter bike? This is it. Might be hard to find but well worth starting off with.

Default Shorter dogbones

I have added an R6 tail to my 93 FZR. I am running into some clearance issues with the rear tire and battery tray. Does anyone know what bike has shorter dogbones that would raise my rear 2-3 inches?

you'd want LONGER dogbones. Shorter would lower it more.

I guess I was wrong by looking at the geometry of the suspension. So are there any bikes that have a 1-2 inch shorter dogbones that would fit the FZR or am I looking at having to get a custom machined product?

Not exactly sure. I'd check out the forums at www.fzrarchives.com...they'd know better as a collective and there's also a guy that ooes that kind of machining.

Are you sure? I thought that longer dogbones lowered the height.

I am not sure if it needs shorter or longer dogbones. People are giving me different opinions. I have ordered +1, -1 dogbones from Anubis--we shall see what happens.

Shorter dogbones raise the bike, longer ones lower it.

Go to fzrarchives.com. LilBastard makes them and I have them on my bike right now. They work great.
