How to aquire FZ1 bars.

Im pretty much set on swapping on some FZ1 bars on my 2006 fz6, especially after I install my recently ordered fz6n headlight kit. Just want to be sure of the year Fz1 handle bar I need to order, also would like to know wheres the best place to find the bar for purchase online. I might even try for an aftermarket bar of the same style, just don't know what size is right. Any help would be awesome. Also, I am no where near my bike as I am currently on deployment, so I cannot tape any measurements or anything...But my fz6 does have the factory bar on it now.

Easy. Bikebandit.com and if you want something a little more upright but still the flat wrist angle the FZ6R bars will do the trick, and no, FZ8 bars wont work, because of the different bar end style.

Thanks, But i already ordered the FZ1 bar....I hope it will work out okay, I know other people have done it before...It was only 40 bucks. So ill see when I get back...

What bar are you running now?

I've been curious to try the FZ1 bar. Still want to get rid of the unused bar in your garage?

I've had the stock bars on since I bought my 2004 new in 2004, but I keep hearing people rave about their FZ1 bar.

I put Renthal Ultra Lows on my FZ1 but I don't have the FZ anymore. If you want the bar send me a PM, it's in pretty much perfect condition with about 6000 miles on it. I'll send it to you free. I also have the bar ends for it and I think the risers are somewhere too.

I picked up a spare FZ6 handlebar from a local guy. I'm going to play around with heating it up and bending it a little straighter to reduce wrist pain. Once I find something thats comfortable, I'll repaint it.
