Default Bought a 2008 zx14, '07 fz6 for sale!!!!!

Guys you have a great forum here,, alot of help.

I found a killer deal on a left over dark metallic blue zx14 2008. $9100

I couldnt pass it up. The bike fits me so much better than the fz6.

Power,, in any gear, its always there.

So if you know anyone wanting a great fz6 2007 with 3.5k miles on it... PM me

Im asking $4900 for it,,, dealer is giving me $4k. So thats that.

Im going to wait about 2 weeks maybe,, since the fz6 is in the paper locally.

I will see what shakes out.

Im in Omaha, Ne.

Thanks for all your help guys.

O,,,,,,,,, I was also looking at a 1125r buell. I researched it for about a year.

I finally went and tested it out the other day. I wanted off that POS in 2 mins. OMG what a waste of time that was over the year or so. It shook like a dog,, then sputtered in low rpms,, rear brake was about 1/2" from tranny case...

the zx14 putts the 1125r to shame.

I liken the zx14 to what would be like riding a magic carpet

Bye all.

Congrats on your new bike..I was just reading a long term [2 year] test from Cycle World on the big Kawi and they just loved it..power everywhere and no problems in over 10,000 miles of pretty severe riding...they only averaged around the low 30s for gas mileage

A few more.

I miss it alot... I think I will have it del. next week.

Its really a push with what I could get for my bike on a sale,, compared to what it will be with that taken off the trade in value on sales taxxx.

Gorgeous. Love the head on view of it, too. Would be really cool if you could lose the mirrors, and go to a head's up display for the rear view.

I'd think you would be better off letting the dealership handle the resale of the FZ..... $900 in the bush, is not the same as a ZX14 in the hand.

Gorgeous bike.

Do you guys get a tax break on trade in over downpaments?? For the sake of $900 up here I know what I'd be doing. Basically the trade in amount comes off the before tax price of the new bike and you only get taxed on the remainder, whereas if you come in with the same amount in cash (or more) then that comes off AFTER the tax is applied to the full price of the bike.

Yep decided to get it del today. Cant wait.

Good thing the break in is for 500 miles and under 4k rpm....As I remeber this thing tuggs along at any lower rpm,, then twist,, and your offffffffffffffffffffffff.

Im going to get really use to this bike,,, almost like I did with my first bike,,, But I know I have more under my belt now.

And I feel good too somone is going to have a nice Red FZ6 like new condition!

I will still poke around sportbike forum,, as its a very nice and friendly place.

Latters.
