I equate having a huge engine bike to carrying a concealed weapon...you may never need the power but it's nice knowing that if you do...it's there for you.

What? Sales tax on new vehicles is going to be deductible from our federal income tax? Do we have to itemize or does it apply to everyone?

The Newfoundland policy sounds very sensible: it would avoid double-taxation on money spent.
