04 bought in 04. 8,000 miles. Just put in k+n air filter and iridium plugs, they looked good when I pulled them out. I could have waited til 15,000 miles. One set of new bt021's. Will need new battery soon, a little slow winding up.

07 - 17,500
Oil and tires, probably could use plugs it idles a little rougher than it used to. Third set of tires. I want to know how guys are over 25 thousand on the second set of tires???? Stockers went 5,500 for me the Conti Road Attacks went just over 11,000 and had cords on the rear the day before my new tires got put on... now trying a set of Pilot Roads... how are you guys getting over 15,000 miles out of a set of tires?

I am also wondering how people go that long on tires. If you ride all highway the centers wear out...all backroad the entire tire wears out...my BT020 stockers were shot at 7,000 miles....on my second set now (Diablo supersport) and they are about half way through life at 3,000 miles but I ride 75% twisties.

Silver '04 - 10,000 miles
2nd set of tires - Replaced original Dunlops with Conti Sport Attacks around 5500
Changed oil, coolant and swapped out plugs for Iridiums at 8000 - original plugs still looked good so could have waited longer
Had to replace battery in April '08
No major problems aside from TPS recall and the occasional flat (thank you to whoever drops screws in curb lanes etc.)
