totally possible. it's probably easy to fit with even half a brain, but making it look good and flow with the lines of the bike will be the real truth of talent.
I've seen aftermarket pipes made for this bike that look like total shit.
I say go for it, make it your winter project and don;t rush it.

Use every resource you can to create a class A project, not some ghetto shit.

Even if you could, why would you want to? What benifit would you think would happen?

Sound, and something unique would be my guess. Probably cheaper than an aftermarket exhaust too.

dood didnt you play with legos when you were young? custom modifying is the shit, there was a member here trying to make the R1 exhausts fit, but i dont think it got completed. I know 3 other local Fz6 and none of them have modified it as much as i have, shit ive gone through min. like 5 versions of my bike,

stock

naked, dual 4" headlights with bar end mirrors,

faired with fz1 bar

faired with blackbird clip ons

" with ohlins rear shock

" with 15w front fork oil swap

I've still got the R1 mufflers in my garage if anyone is interested... There's only two things that would need to be done to make it fit, a simple bracket to bolt the cans to the rear muffler mount tabs (I can sketch what the bracket would look like, and it'd only need 1 bend in it), and you'd have to get a shop capable of welding titanium or stainless steel to make a Y-pipe to join these mufflers to the exit from the CAT.

$75 for the mufflers...
