FZ6If you’re looking for one bike to perform a multitude of missions, look no further.
Take it from Cycle World* Magazine - “For a more advanced rider looking for a bike to do it all, there is no other choice.”

Glad to hear that you are still in such good spirits. I've gotta say, it sounds like you're dealing with things as best as you can. Just be careful with those vicodin, they can be nasty...
Sounds like you're looking to go full supersport all the way. And after the crash that you had I don't blame you at all. I'd really like to have an SS for track riding, but I want to keep the FZ for street riding. So for now I'm just saving my pennies.

Yes, the pics are from Autobahn North. The bike is excellent with this suspension combo, especially with the 1.0 springs in the forks - very composed.
I've considered putting on rearsets, but right now my plan is to enjoy this bike for what it is (I won't be setting any lap records, which is fine) and buy a dedicated track bike in the next couple of years. I'm currently trying to relocate from MI to OR, so buying new motorcycles is a pretty low priority for the moment.
You're getting surgery for your hand? Don't be such a pussy. I broke my hand in the same place (only the 4th metacarpal, right hand), then ate tylenols every hour and a half and went on a road trip on the fz6 all the way to Chicago from Toronto non-stop and back that weekend!
I never did even get a cast, I let that sucker heal all crooked like a man - and I wouldn't have even got a bill.

Use frame sliders. One never knows when a cripple is about.
Thatguy, i'm sorry to hear about your get off at the track. i hope you heal up fast!
--go figure, i found this thread as i'm thinking about signing up for the 8th to go to Thunderbolt. (the same track he went down on with the same organization)
Well, what is this thread about, a competition for photos of people with center stand on while on a race track? Take the blooming thing off before going on the circuit.
For Thatguyx, I wish you speedy recovery.
For others, stop bragging how close your centerstand, side stand, pegs or whatever were from touching the ground. Prepare your bike for the track.
