How much do you loose of the top end is it even noticeable.
The 15t will take about 10 mph off the top of each gear.
Our bikes are geared stock to go 170 mph.
They do not have the HP to push the bike at that speed.
So top speed is not affected by this mod.
The ONLY down side I can think of... Is if you cruise at 75 + mph ALL THE TIME.
It will take a little hit on mpg.
With my gears at -1/+1 (15/47) rpm's top gear at 70 mph is 6k-6.5k rpm.

So that means everyone but highway commuters will make use of the sprocket change then....

The 75 + mph isn't an issue for me since the max speed limit here is around 50 mph (80 km/h). A few places just over 60 mph is allowed (100 km/h). That means most of my driving will be in the 30-50 mph range so the sprocket change makes my riding a lot smoother. Now I just have to change the bolt and washer since mine were really rusted... They are currently waiting for me at the dealer and will probably be put on next weekend

Anyone have any idea as to how you could mount the rubber surrounding the stock sprocket? It did make the chain/engine noise a bit more silent...

Anyone know why I received 19 emails from SBN telling me this thread has activity?

LOL. Mine is set to send an email for a new reply, not a bunch of emails for one reply. They were ALL for the one post today at 1:08 PM! All 19 emails had the time of 1:11 PM. SBN is goofy like that. I usually get multiple email alerts for a single post, but this one takes the cake for the most.

Definately a gear noise that the stock gear doesn't make.
About 250 rpms' higher at freeway speed.

This thing moves out better now.
