Wanna Buy an R7 (750cc)???
There's one for sale here:
Yamaha motorcycle for sale : 1999 Yamaha R7 for sale
Awesome... $26,500 though!! I've always thought this was a really cool bike so I look them up from time to time and came across this. I wish Yamaha would bring this bike back, with the new R-series looks.... I keep thinking about a Gixxer 750, but, it's a Gixxer... hehe
These were only made a few years, in homologation numbers (500 I think) for racing. To find one that wasnt raced is very hard.

Looks sweet, but look at the fourth pic, is that 2823 miles? They advertise 1400 miles.

The cluster is in metric in that pic... 2823km's... which is still 1754 miles... not entirely accurate.

!!!YUM YUM!!!
Sorry bout that. . .didn't see your response in the second link posted. Good grabs, but am I mistaken to think that Yamaha has had factory Ohlins front suspensions on their bikes before?

Defy - funny that! I'm not on that forum so I didn't see it though. I was just like "hmm wonder if there's any for sale these days or good youtube videos" like I do every 6 months or so... and found this one.
and +1000 on the FZ7 !!

He also does not mention the fact that 500 of these bikes were made. Perhaps the US only got 50, but thats a big difference.
