Holy cow! Something is screwy. I just got a price of $608 from my local Harley/Buell dealer on everything. Now granted, I told them to give me the price of EVERYTHING associated with the lights and flyscreen, including nuts, bolts, screws, etc. He told me there was a total of 28 parts. Unfortunately, they are far away and I don't have a fax, so he's going to snail-mail me the parts list and diagram so I can pick and choose what I want, but that's a FAR cry from the $150 - $175 that some on here have talked about. I'm bummed because now I have to wait... I was hoping to order this stuff today! :

Do search for "Buell headlight". Someone already posted these numbers. Like I said, I had them saved but for some dumb-ass reason, I deleted the file. I look around and see if I can't scrounge the numbers up.

Headlight Assembly: Y0421.1ADA $70-$80
Flyscreen Bracket: M0645.1ADA $22-$25
Flyscreen: M1600.1AJAMBX $50-$90 (blue one)
Headlight Grill: M0023.1AJAYT (price unknown)

posted these up on the "how-to" as well

galavoxx,
Thanks for the how to and references.
I'm coming from a different direction - a dual sported and soon to be supermotarded XR650R and started the Buell Lightning light conversion last fall. Got stuck at the mock-up stage needing headlight brackets and just ordered your recommendation.

I found parts to be variable in price though still not unreasonable and the best prices at Surdyke - Harley Davidson Parts and Accessories Default.asp
but you have to know the part no.s.

I have a write up at AdvRider.com search XR650R, XRR-kat, but the search engine is down just now.

I'll check out your progress. Also, what was the cost on the parts from Surdyke?

Other than that, I'm loving the new look!!

I'll swap if you still need one. I like the "newer" clamp and I have some adjustment scratches I want to hide. (Mines '06)

Thanks for the offer but I'm a little up-in-the-air about what I want right now. I really want to get a whole top triple and paint it black. I don't know if I would end up keeping the newer style bar clamp of not. I'll let you know as soon as I sort it out.
