Now it seems to me that the LSL bars work with naked mod well. Not sure about the clearance with fairings? Anyone have them with fairings?

Mine are Renthal Superbike Bars. They have less pullback than stock and I'm sure they would work with the fairing intact. I doubt any bar would have clearance issues unless you run a high rise motorcross bar, then the rise might cause some issues.

I was wondering how the Buell headlights do at night compared to stock? Over 50% of my riding is at night, so it's a big concern for me. I'm leaning hard towards the naked mod, and the more I look, the more I like this setup.

They can't be any worse than the stock lighting on the FZ6. My Ducati with traditional round headlight, puts out a lot better lighting than the FZ6.

Really?!? I've been riding two different cruisers for the past year and the FZ's headlights seem phenomenal in comparison.

I've only had them on a few days but I'll try to get out this evening and see how they do. Do you do more highway riding or city?

It's actually a pretty even mix of both.

Other than that, I'm loving the new look!!
Do you have the Buell part number for the HL assembly?

Thanks

Robert

Are you still only running one headlight for lowbeam, like your avatar?

Yeah, just one light for low beam. When I flick the high beam it turns on the other light. I think I'm going to put a PIAA style super bright yellow bulb in the high beam.

You have one of my favorite setups on the site now. I have always liked the double round light/ cafe racer look. Can you post a how-to and part# list for us?

I really might want to duplicate this.
