I just had my bike at the shop and had them run a few tests to see if it really needed the fuel injection remapped. I have the M4 and K&N filter on my 07. When I talked with the mechanic I know at the dealer he said my bike was running great and no need to remap it at all. It is right in the middle of the specs that Yamaha wants the bike to run at.

No need to spend 300 bucks for the PCIII unless you have some money to dispose of.

I need to get some new pics because I have the FAZR6 fender eliminator on so it looks alot better. The M4 Exhaust has the Y pipe and looks pretty much just like the one that they use on the Scorpion exhaust.

I think Im gonna do Titanium. They will look the same from the rear. I worry about cracking and fading plus I heard the Ti pipes may get an interesting blue tint.

To be honest I would of been happy with Ti's as well. THey just had Carbons in stock and I do like CF but I truely think both look great.

Lightbulb We have 6 buyers notes with pipecity.com; need 4 more!

I changed my order from the pure carbon fiber cans to titanium. Like some of you noted, both look great. However, when it comes to fading or discoloration of the cans, the carbon fibers will be noticeable more. According to Ron - from pipecity.com, the reason given for the fading is the increased internal heat coming oft from inside of the pipes. It is not the Sun's UV rays. He also stated that the exhaust need to be repacked after prolonged use in high temps. On another note, my wife says the titanium cans flow better with the bike, like the factory color. I still get the awesome carbon fiber tips

OK guys we need 4 more buyers for the pipes to ship. Ron reported only 6 thus far. Lets do it!

Update: I just got off the phone with M4 and found out that both the titanium and the carbon fiber pipes are good. But, in terms of durability, there is no question that Titanium is the better choice.

I'm waiting on an email/phone call today. If its bad news I'm ordering immediately.

No rush for me though...garage door broke and the spring is on back order...roll up door...so I havent been able to get my bike out in 2 weeks. Lame!!!

Default Hi Botch

Welcome to the new world of SBN - fz6 forum.

I am glad you joined us on the M4s. I think they should be shipping real quick now. We had 6 then 7 buyers earlier this morning. Now we must have 8 or 9.

One more buyer needed for the M4s to ship

To change color of the layout:

Go to the bottom of the page.
Bottom Left Drop box choose "SBN Light Grey / White"
I had to do same!
