speaking of dremel and exhaust...i've been thinking of buying one and using a buffing/sanding attachment for the front exhaust headers.

Can someone get me the diameter of the strap for these? I mounted mine but just got an idea and need the diameter of the steel strap.

also....The little plastic piece and screw that hit the strap bolt preventing the tail from completely setting down.... that really pissed me off.....I used the two phillips screws that mount the shroud to the original muffler. The screws are smaller and I was able to get it on.

Once I got the tail on, the bottom part of the T-bracket was close enough for me to push it forward and bolt the Fender Elem into the sides.......pics upon request. I really want to make my own bracket after using theirs....might just do that with some steel from home depot this weekend.

I've been thinking about this...I haven't got mine yet but I'm definitely hitting home depot before I do the install. I was thinking of some sort of dark metal and/or flat color. I don't want that shiney thing there and I'll tape it and paint it before I leave it like that.

I'd imagine you can get teh powder coated or even ceramic coated for pretty cheap.

I guess there's a reason the Two Bros costs more? Seems like there's an awful lot of problems getting these M4s installed.

Don't throw my $0.02 at me too hard.

I was waiting for that. I think what I saved by going to the M4's was worth it. If you dont have an eleminator kit than maybe the Two Bros is worth it. I had one so it wasnt worth it for me.

Other than at idle doesn't feel any different from the stock. I will stay with the stock exhaust I guess.

+1

There does seem to be a lot of issues here.. I hope the two brothers are easier to install..

But the dollars saved may be well worth it to some.. For me I had a fender eliminator kit but the 160 dollars was well worth it to get the two brothers..

Its great to see you guys got the group buy done though

CONGRATS to you all..

Ill be waiting for the pics and sound clips.. I bet they sounds nice..

Ill let you guys know when i install them.. wish someone lived near me with the m4s so we could do a side by side sound clip .. that would be nice..IMO

Phatdoggy,

did you order the two brothers via the pipecity buy I set up? Hope so....

again CONGRATS fellas.. there will be a lot of disturbed cagers on the road soon..

peace

I feel you bro. The install probs were due to my mechanical inexperience (lameness). I did not take off a bracket from the factory pipe. After that everything worked nicely. Even without the bracket the pipes hold. Comparing the M4s to the stock pipes is like comparing apples to oranges. The M4 are way deeper and louder and not just in idle. The improved throttle response is noticeable. I must say I gained at least 3-5 HP just feels Bad@ss. The only issues I see here is with some peoples' responses lol.

Oh Breezy... don't be like that.

I did NOT order the Two Bros on a group buy. I apparently missed the thread.

Edit: I found the thread you started, but it ended with "This group buy is a bust." Is there another thread that I'm not seeing?
