Take it from Cycle World* Magazine - “For a more advanced rider looking for a bike to do it all, there is no other choice.”
Once I removed the bracket part from the factory pipe everything connected as expected.:rockon::rockon:
Thank You Postal for clarifying which piece I needed from the Yamaha Diagram. Breeze thanks for being kind enough to offer your garage, tools, etc. I've managed to install it (correctly this time) myself. Yeay
Cheers!
My neighbors know when I'm coming/going. ;)

Let me put it like this, regarding H.B., stay behind a car at all times, don't split lanes, and do NOT go down any street unless there is a car in front of you, going the speed limit (no faster/no slower). Keep it in the highest gear possible at all speeds.
Forget laws...they just hate bikers here...especially sport bikers. Always be surrounded by cars when doing down the street and you'll be ok. If you're the point man, forget it...you're done. Oh, and the CITY has its own helicopter FYI.

Shitty news,
I just got off of the phone with Ron and he informed me that M4 has to assemble the rest of the pipes due to sub par manufacturing on of the carbon fiber tips. M4 shot down the tips they recieved to assemble the remaining pipes and have now essentially put every order on hold until they finish the FZ6 pipes. We have priority so thats a good thing I guess. M4 is atleast sending them out as they finish them and not waiting until they have the whole lot finished to do the shipping. Pipe city was unaware of this delay and did not find out until today when they called wanting to know where the rest of the tracking numbers were at. M4 is even taking the tips alloted for the R1 seiries pipe and using them to help expedite the assembly process. Not to fear, they use the same tips as the FZ6. I started to become upset but I thought about it and atleast M4 is making sure they are giving us a quality product for the price we paid rather than giving us shit looking pipes just to hurry up and get them delivered. The delay is also due to the TI assembly which was completed first (hate you guys) but that is to expected when ordering mixed items. If they would've done the C/F's first, it would be everyone that purchased the TI's waiting. So please, no bashing. This is the price we have to pay to look better.
Ron said he would be calling everyone who has not recieved a tracking number to give them the bad news but with M4 expediting the assembly, Ron said they should have them all done hopefully this week. Sorry, but I did'nt ask for the total amount left needing to be assembled. All in all, its a good thing but waiting still sucks and I am tired of trying to stay optimistic about this. I'm done with the novel now.

anyone have pics with body pieces off and fender elem on?
Does this work with a fender elem?
That T-shaped bar is giving me fits for some reason. Im off to orchard for longer strap bolts, these ones are too short by .25 of an inch.
also....how close are your pipes to the frame up top?
It works with fender eliminator. Most important thing is to attach the bracket to the top portion of Item 20 pictured earlier on in this thread. I will post pics and a video with sound clip by this Friday.

Im not sure what item #20 is but here are some pics....
In the first picture you can see how the fender eliminator does not reach the M4 supplied bracket. This was a factory Fender Elim when the previous owner bought the bike.
The second picture is of the bracket. How come it is hugging the left muffler? I really just want to cut off the T-part of this bracket and be done. I really dont need it it seems.
Third pic is how close it is to the frame. Is this correct?
Fourth pic is the reat tail bolts hitting the strap bolts....any ides on this one? The bolts they supplied I didnt think were long enough. Looks like I will have to try again.
Thanks for the info.

I was going to dremel off the bottom "T" portion of the supplied bracket, but used two zip ties instead to attach it to the top of my FE kit. You are correct about one can being closer to the bracket than the other. That has to be because of how the slip-on pipe was designed. I actually tried bending the slip on pipe slightly so that both cans would be pretty much straight and centered when looking from the back. I'll post pics and video tomorrow.
Cheers.
