FZ6If you’re looking for one bike to perform a multitude of missions, look no further.
Take it from Cycle World* Magazine - “For a more advanced rider looking for a bike to do it all, there is no other choice.”
defy have you ran it with the new forks/brakes and the rizomas yet? Last time i checked, you had the rizomas on, but it was in your living room. And the R6 swap was recent no?

I've run it on the street and will be at the track the next two weekends. I have my baseline setup and will be tweaking things this weekend at ACC and going all out the following at Putnam.
The thing is so frickin fast with the new gearing (and relative to my dirt bike); I feel like I can't even use it on the street (2up is a different story). Maybe I just need to get out my excitment at the track.
The brakes are great with one or two fingers but it stoppies way too much. I need to raise the front (only about 10mm down now). I think I may go back to flush and see how it turns/tracks at the track. If I feel that the turn-in etc. is acceptable I'll be happy because I need all the help I can get keeping the rear on the ground (gotta brake late on the 6).

If you're still getting the urge to stoppie at 10mm down, you may need to revalve your forks or adjust your forks to a stiffer setting.

Has nothing to do with my forks; they are not diving. Too much weight bias on the front. My sag is perfect and I've got 5 lines showing on the preload. My baseline comp/rebound is right where it should be as well. Again, this is only under the hardest of braking.

What about your rear? A smidge too tall/too much preload?
Update to going naked....Ordered belly pan and waiting to see if I won the Falcon Cyclops. Next step is to get some new front blinkers and fork mounted attachments for them. Not going to be riding much this summer, but I will be having some fun wrenching the bike. Once I get it all together, next step is the paint. I am thinking of a british metallic green with a white racing stripe on the tank. I hope to have it all together by the end of July, at least that way I can enjoy some riding. Wish me luck!
