FZ6If you’re looking for one bike to perform a multitude of missions, look no further.
Take it from Cycle World* Magazine - “For a more advanced rider looking for a bike to do it all, there is no other choice.”
Well, I have to say that the first day you ride the bike without the fairing, you definitely will feel a difference. However, after a few days, I got used to it completely. And love it.
Now, if you plan to do ALOT of freeway riding, I would not recommend it. I commute to work on the freeways everyday, but it's no long distance travelling. If you're planning a trip cross country anytime soon, keep the fairing
For all other types of riding, all day rides, twisties, some highway to get home, it`s perfect for me.
Example: last saturday with moldmaker and pancho: 350 miles... parts of it @ 30 degrees F up the mountain path with 2 feets of snow on the side of the road, to Pacific Coast Highway under the beautiful california sun!
This past weekend I had to do my head bearing so I removed the whole front end from the fairing stay forward (no plastic, speedo,or lights) and took it for a test ride and loved it.

Didn`t want to put the fairing back on huh? haha nice
^^ ive pretty much made my decision about this, naked mod is coming soon, well.. not so soon because of the financial situations right now but when it comes, it will come with the headlight and fairing on this baby ..
hey Mike, you told me about this headlight, but now that I see it again, I understand what you were saying... that should definitely look great on the fizzer... especially with that sweet flyscreen!
Can`t wait to see it... did you already get some info about the price for that setup?
