GREAT GREAT GREAT POST!!! +1 to what everyone else said, envious, awed, etc. Really shows what our great bikes can do. The pictures brought back fond memories of places I've been and desires to go to places I haven't.
CanadianFZ6, you don't have to go to Florida to see a Saturn V. There's one in Huntsville, AL. There's also a chopper there too. The copper liberty bike that they made on American Chopper. They have a shuttle there and a whole bunch more stuff. I think it was $18 to get in. If you want pics, send me a PM.

Thanks for the heads up

FYI, Huntsville is amazing. Well, the town is ok, but the Space Center is incredible. I've been back down that way since, but about 20 years ago I went to "Space Camp" in Huntsville. Talk about incredible. Not only do they have a real Saturn V laying on it's side and separated into the individual stages, they have tons of other launch vehicles both outdoors and indoors. The highlight, IMHO, they have the original Space Shuttle that NASA developed for aerodynamic and actual glider testing, The Enterprise. It's sitting outside perched atop an actual ET (external tank) and actual SRB's (solid rocket boosters). You have no idea how big those things are until you're able to actually walk under one! Man, this has made me want to make another visit down there!
Man, in reading through this, I apparently REALLY like the work "actual"!!! You'd never know I was an english major!

I can only agree with everything that has been said and to thank you for some great pictures. I am now looking at buying a camera like yours.
Someone on here was asking what the FZ6 is like for touring and now I think you have provided the definitive answer. I am pleased that you have proved my decision correct in buying a FZ6 for touring.
I totally agree that we should have a seperate TRIPS forum. Reading all the comments on this thread there are a lot of guys on here who are planning interesting trips this year. I have France, Germany and Poland on my calendar . It would be good if we had a site where we could put thumbnails of our photos on. Who can arrange this????????????
My question is what type of tent are you using?
Thanks a lot for sharing your trip hopefully you have inspired the rest of us to post our pics as well.
