Here's my first hack at trying to get a compatibility list going. I'm posting it here for review. I tried to reference forum posts where part numbers and/or howto documentation are given. Please review and verify thoroughly if you would like to use this information and please don't sue me if it's incorrect. Specifically, killernoodle, FAZR6, jcaeser, segue00, 04Fizzer, DefyInertia, Randomchaos, wavex, if you have some input, I'd appreciate it. I know I might be missing some things that could be compatible with various R1 models (rearsets, shock) and some of the things that have been done mods that are not necessarily easy to replicate.
J/K man, that is FANTASTIC work and I am sure more than a few FZ6 riders will really appreciate all the hard work they DON'T have to do thanks to you!
Hehehe...I know I've asked for this list several times in the 3 years that I've had my FZ6, and it just seems like now I've seen enough threads to get this going. Too bad Yamaha couldn't do something like this for us.

Oh, and the 01-05 FZ1 mirrors are compatible with the 04-06 FZ6. They are a little longer, but they mount up the same. Just a suggestion. Also the handlebars from the '01-'05 FZ1 are interchangeable with the FZ6, and the '06-'07 FZ1 bars can be installed on the FZ6 as a drag bar.

One more suggestion, how about a list of colors for each model year (for the FZ6 anyways) Like 06 blue compared to '07 blue, or 04 silver to 05 silver. This question seems to come up alot.
