FZ6If you’re looking for one bike to perform a multitude of missions, look no further.
Take it from Cycle World* Magazine - “For a more advanced rider looking for a bike to do it all, there is no other choice.”
I know there's another thread like this one in the Open Forum section, but I thought I`d ask the FZ6 family, since no-one ever ventures out of here! Plus I`d like to know a little more about all the regulars around here... let's get to know each other a little better!
So who are you? what do you do for a living? Don`t be shy, share a pic of yourself!
I am David, 28, married and recently dad
I am originally from France (North East) and moved to the US when I was 21... I had done a 6months internship in a company in LA as part of my business/marketing college, and my boss at the time offered me to come back after I got my diploma... so of course I finished the last year I had to do in College and called the guy...
Today I am a Program Manager, still for the same Aerospace company and life is good!
The things I love: my wife and baby (had to put that 1st), travel (been all over Europe, North and South America, Africa, but never to Asia or Australia), french food and wine, motorcycles (owned a couple back in France, i.e. CB500 followed by a Hornet, and now my FZ), enjoy computer stuff (video editing + FPS & rally games, some VB), and to build and fix stuff around the house. I speak french, english and german fluently.
Things I hate: ppl that complain, crashing my almost finished FZ
Here is a recent pic on my FZ:
I know, I am showing off a little bit on that ^^ lol
ps: and magseal/whisperquiet, if you post, you'd better have a real pic of you!
Pete, corn fed boy from Indiana, 35 livin large in the highest city in the USA I climb radio towers for a living. Divorced a year ago after 8 years of marriage (not at all sad about that). Masters Degree in Information Systems, not even close to using it. Work too much, don't play enough (all the money in the world is worthless if ya don't have fun). Hoping for one more day of riding before the snow flies...

Rob, 24, I was born in London but moved here to Brisbane, Australia when I was two. I'm a software developer for a stockbroker. If it means anything to anyone I'm mostly a vb.net programmer, and I'm moving towards sharepoint development. Currently working on some nice infopath forms with workflows attached behind them.
I'm a self confessed nerd, but nothing like the guys I work with... I don't play Dungeons and Dragons, World of Warcraft and I'm not obsessed with Star Wars (although the originals were a shiteload better than the new ones).
Like wavex I also love travelling, having been to parts of england, wales, singapore, south africa, malaysia, thailand, new zealand, america and canada. Plan on going over to europe in 09. Want to see more of Australia as well!
I live with my girlfriend, no kids thankfully!
I used to work quite a bit on cars doing them up etc, but got tired of only being able to afford crappy old things that weren't very quick... so I sold my car and bought the FZ and now can get free parking at work in the city which is fantastic (public transport is a pain).
I love riding with my mate who has a cbr600rr, watching movies (watch quite a few art house and french movies actually, they are always so god damn funny and not trash like hollywood)

things i love: my bike, hiking, halo 3, and hanging with my people.
this is the only pic with me AND my bike that i could find.

I'm Jon, 27, married since last Sept. to an amazing girl named Amber. I'm a financial advisor for one of the largest investment firms in the world. When I'm not riding I'm pretty much a couch potato/book worm. My wife and I play a lot of video games, watch TV, read, and laze around with our dog and 2 cats. And until recently I did martial arts for the past 10 years. No kids yet, but we're keeping our fingers crossed!

Below are me and my two-wheeled buddy in a pic taken at the 2007 Mass-Holes Meet. The greatest thing in the world right now is an excuse to load all my luggage onto my FZ6 and head on down the road - that and hanging out with my friends and drinking beer and watching sports (especially motorcycle racing). I'm a home-body at heart though.
I've been a graphics manager for a telecom/media consulting firm in Boston for the past 10 years. I know there are more important, meaningful things I could be doing workwise but it pays the bills. Recently divorced after 11 years of marriage - we're still on good terms but DAMN is it nice to come home sometimes to just my two eighteen-pound cats.
