Default FieldSheer Suit? Size? OR Icon Jacket and Pants?

I still have the smelly Icon Motorhead jacket but today at cyclegear I found a Icon Burner leather jacket on sale for $199. Figure I will sell the smelly one for $150 on craigslist.

Should I look for a pair of leather pants with mating zipper for my new Jacket?

I also found this a Fieldsheer 2 piece Suit on sale but dont know how Fieldsheer fit. I wear a small in Icon but range between 38-40 in Alpinestars.
I have found two different Fieldsheer size charts, one saying size 38 the other size 40. I am 5'6 155 but lift and have broad shoulders.

Fieldsheer Revo Sport 2 Piece Suit - Read Reviews and Buy at KneeDraggers.com

Any experiences with Fieldsheer? The suit will be about $350 which isnt bad. I will be over that if I add a pair of pants to the New Icon jacket. I am just worried on size and getting the wrong one in the mail. I guess I should call Fieldsheer monday.

I wouldnt mind finding a pair of leather pants and adding a zipper to my new Icon....is that a good idea?

Thanks
Rc

I find that a full piece suit is impractical for street riding. A 2 piece is much more convenient.

i ordered the same suit a couple of weeks ago. i am 5'9" and 150 and pretty thin. the 40 was too small for me only because it was too short. it killed my knees. if you are stocky the 38 might be too tight because the 40 fit my upper body well and i don't have broad shoulders. if i were you i would order a 40.

i think that you'll be disappointed with the quality. i mean, it's inexpensive so what did i expect right? well the leather is pretty thin (thinner than most). and the suit kinda fits funkily (just my opinion).

i sent it back and found a tecknic suit for 450 that i ended up getting. i have tried on the tecknics and found that they fit a lot better, and just seem of better quality.

just food for thought for you. good luck.....getting gear online is always difficult for me when i can't try things on and no one i know of carries fieldsheer in store.

what teknic suit did you get?
I think I am going to go and try on some pants next weekend and see
Since I am stalky with broad shoulders but a small waist its screws things up...

I did just get a deal on an Icon Motorhead Jacket today so I might just spend the money on pants that fit and sew in the matching zipper to the jacket.

thanks
