Default Power Commander Dyno results?

Have seen a TON of posts about the power commander, but haven't really seen any dyno results. Everyone says how wonderful it makes the bike feel, but I was wondering if there was any data to look at?

On a stock bike (or with K&N) do you think the peak HP changes much or are most of the gains in the low to mid range stuff?

Love to see a dyno of a power commander on a pretty stock bike to see what the curve looks like...

Search works great... but I'll repost my dyno run from this summer. Stock bike, K&N running Dynojets 'stock bike map'.

here...
and here...

I removed the Power Commander after the run and I'm happy with the stock bike. I may reinstall the PC and try running the Euro Spec Stock bike map to see how it works out. For the extra fuel I went through wasn't worth the 'upgrade'.

The numbers are messed up on the Dyno sheets but the 'curve' is there. Typical Dead spot @ 6000 rpm. The dyno maps are for download are a disappointment in my view.

The run was a mobile dyno with no Air flow system and it was a killer hot day...

Why did you remove it?

I only see one dyno plot, without a before and after its kinda of hard to use that data?

I removed because I was going to sell it. I don't have before and after runs. I may install it again to play around with it some more, its fun having the laptop connected to the bike.

Again the numbers on the sheets are weird, so that are really only good for a curve..

check this out ..***..

and this...

Not to sure man, but it was a little worse, there are HUGE differences in the US and Euro Spec maps from the DynoJet site. I don't know how those Euro Bikes run haha.

They are probably leaner because the gas octane rating is higher out there...

I just bought a PCIII, M4 slip ons and cat elim. I already have a K&N air filter. The PC web site sucks for maps, most of them are geared for euro specs. Does anyone that's had their FZ6 dyno have their maps to upload?

Here's mine (European version) with K&N airfilter, Arrow cat replacement pipe, Akrapovic SP-series slip-on and PCIII so that's not so stock anymore. But anyway:

96.23 HP from rear tire, so it's about 109 HP from crankshaft (calculated with 13% factor -> 96.23 x 1.13 = 108.73 HP). The factory HP's are 98, so theres 11 HP's more now.

That blue curve is measured before adding a custom map.

Those mods are exactly what I have, except not European, lol. What map did you use? the one off the site or do you have a custom one?

PHT-Speed dynoed it and made also a custom map for me. The blue curve is measured with zero map and the black curve is with custom map added.

I should some day visit to my brother and borrow his laptop to download that map from my PCIII. Maybe I upload that map here then. But once again, that map is adjusted for euro spec FZ6 and European gasoline.

I'm currently running a euro map at the moment. None of the US maps seemed to work very well.
