New Calsci Windshield for '07 FZ6
Hi guys,
We're now shipping our FZ6 sport-touring windshield. It's much higher and wider than stock, and vented for minimum turbulence and back pressure. Currently available in two heights.
So can you tell me more about this "failed"? What is it about the earlier models that caused you to fail in your attempt to make a touring screen for them?
No good way to vent? Hard to match the screw holes? I'm seriously curious.
Earlier FZ6 windshields are injection molded and have complicated 3-d shapes that I can't replicate.
Niether can Puig, but that doesn't stop them from selling a flat sheet windshield that appears to be hot rolled to make the main curve....
Seriously, the Puig fits like crap and sells well because there really aren't any alternatives. I know because I tried the tall Yamaha shield and then ended up with a Puig double-bubble. If you guys could do something similar to Puig, but with the venting, and then actually take the time to make the mounting work correctly without the angled rubber wedge shims that we are using, you'd sell a lot of them.

+1 But I respect the fact that you're either going to do it well or not at all.
05 with stock windshield, ever on the lookout for a better alternative...

If there's an '05 -'06 owner in the Sacramento area who will let me play with their bike, I'll consider again. If I use your bike and make a windshield, you get a free one.
