most time spent at 4k in the city
highway 6th gear curise @ 75mph with tach reading 6,000 rpms
Off ramps and curves are down shifted and rev'd matched

Hope this helps and I can't wait till she fully breaks in... actually I wonder if it will be worse with me rev'n her up to 12k haha

So far power and speed is not an issue if anything its lovely

Bay area, ca

Just reached 1000 miles on my 07. I cruise around 4-5k around town and really on get on it getting on the freeway. With this style i get around 150 miles to 3.8 gallons of fuel.

When in the twisty and mountain area i get slightly worse. Something like 135 miles to a tank.

EDIT: let me add that i am 310 lbs!!!!

About 180-190 miles on a tank before I slip into reserve. Mostly interstate during the week. Approximately 100 miles to work and back.
Fuel is a little worse on the weekends, maybe about 160-170 miles

Increase your number by filling up the tank not to the bottom of where you rest the nozzle but up to the grill you stick the nozzle through..

225 miles before I ran out of gas last week. Said it was 41 miles into reserve when I coasted into the station. Mostly highway miles at between 35-80 mph. I think I would go 200 miles with easy riding before looking for gas. Mileage is about 20-25% less when riding 2-up. I always fill to the bottom of the screen with bike on side stand.

200ish miles on interstate driving. Barely over 200 on backroads. Mostly 2-up riding on backroads though.

Kinda anal when it comes to recording mileage but yeah...

http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...czQnVJse5T1NIA

Recent average is about 45 MPG....

Keep the same kinda records on my 07 R6S and 05 Tundra...

Works out to about $0.06/mile on the FZ6, almost $0.07/mile on the R6S, and over $0.19/mile in the Tundra.

Holy shit, that is the most insane thing I have ever seen in my life.... I have absolutely no idea how much gas I use, how many MPG I get, and I really don't even pay attention to what I pay at the pump (although I do look around for better gas prices while in my cage)
Do you want to come over and balance my checkbook? lol

Hahaha...the trick to balancing your check book is to not use it. I use my credit card like a debit card, plus I get 2% back on all purchases. Just pay off the credit card every month (the 'like a debit card' part) and you never get hit with finance charges. Really, it's just one charge you have to balance instead of dozens (or in my case 100s of charges).
