The plastic looks cheap on the 07.

I removed the front and rear brakes, front wheel, all plastics, all stands...I'm lighter and faster.

It doesn't matter, a buddy with blue 05 and I did a quick "acceleration test" and were pretty much neck and neck. I jumped quicker so i was half a bike length ahead, but when both bikes were in the powerband, we kept the same rate of acceleration. The difference is definitely not enough for the average rider to notice or care about.

The cheap ass plastics on the 07 are more than made up for by its swingarm that doesn't look like something fabricated on Junkyard Wars.

(((No offense, but you have to admit it was the only ugly part of the whole bike until 07))).

No, you are not offended...or no the swingarm wasn't the only ugly part on the bike?

I love all years of the FZ...but the swingarm was the only part that I felt just didn't work....what were your other pre-07 dislikes?
