I actually had the bike in the sun for a couple of hours (really warm that day) and then just peeled the stickers off using my finger nails... used some CRC 5-56 to get off the rest of the glue... Washed and polished the tank and done, easy

Thanks for the tips!

is there a "how 2" thread on replacing brake pads?
also, what kind of pads r recommended... original Yamaha pads or after market, ie: EBC HH, etc.?
ive changed disc brake pads on my Camry & Mazda vehicles b4 & always noticed the dealer parts fit way better than after market parts, which is y i pose the question.
Ciao!

ok, mission completed. took bout az much time az it does 2 beerz. but dam, still had plenty meat on da originalz, wtf!!!! thought w/ 30k on my meter waz bout due fo da change. next time i kno 2 remove da caliperz & do a visual.

still, i went w/ da change rather dan returning the padz cauz i had purchased a set ov EBCs, which claimed better performance w/ heat resistance & longer wear.

liv n learn!!! ciao!
oh yeah, mahalo 2 "bike10" fo da p/m... datz a mean lookin streetfitr fazr u got there!!!!!
