Lt_Sully, thanks for taking the time to write up your experiences with the Zumo. I've also considered getting a GPS set-up for the bike, but have shied away due to the cost. Your review has me rethinking things. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I buy a similar rig.

Again, thanks for the in-depth, real-world review. It'll give me a lot to think about when I get serious about buying a GPS unit.

Default Final review (I hope)

This will be my final review entry (unless something craps out).

I rode my bike to work and back twice last week (5+ hours/200+ miles) + two short lunch trips (several on/offs) without recharging. I charged my phone and scala headsets the day before. I did NOT lose connectivity with my phone or headset on either day and was JAMMING with the MP3 player the WHOLE time (also using navigation commands). I made several phone calls (short and long) with no problems.

I decided to NOT push my luck and went ahead and recharged before day 3 (didnt want my MP3 cuttin out).

EDIT: Have done several two-up rides sharing the audio through the passenger bluetooth headset. The battery life on these headsets are AWESOME. I did lose connectivity with the passenger a couple times, but if I have the MP3 running, I dont ever lose connectivity.

Sully
