Default FZ6 with single headlight - outside US only?

I'm very interested in the FZ6, I've sat on one and it fit my 6'3" frame very well. I was curious though - is there any way to get the one with the single headlight (no front fairing) inside the US?

That bike is absolutely beautiful...

I believe you would have to perform the "naked" mod yourself.

Thanks for the response - I have done some research and found that it is only offered outside the US!

I just like the looks of the Naked better!

I think there is a FZS6n headlamp and indicator unit on eBay at the moment... That should make the mod painless... ;)

I'm kinda surprised no dealers have done the naked conversion themselves. It wouldn't cost them a whole lot, they'd get a set of fairings back, they could move it to a different color bike with ease, and they'd have something no other dealer did. They could even sell it with the fairings and convert it back for you for a price whenever you wanted.

i agree the naked version looks nice. my buddy has a 599 and loves it. but the saying goes - if you ever go to a windshield you never go back.
personally the naked is not near as practical.

He means the trim on the side of the radiator.

If you think a radiator is an air intake, though, you should be on four wheels.
