Default weather for octobergap

for all the friends i have gone with the last couple of times - be warned, we have caught great weather.but the mts. are very unpredictable. as officer said, normally 50s. but what you will get r cold mornings as low as 30 and highs as high as 70s. so be ready to bundle up little boys. that's the reason mrs. tour guide is unsure @ going. u know that women have ice water in their viens , not blood !!!!

Paraphrasing Officer737, "ifin' ya'll don't mind a 'Yamaha Beemer'* going I should be able to make it either of those weekends". Don't know when Biketoberfest is here (Daytona's only 30 min from me), but if it conflicts I'll choose Deals Gap! Put me down for a "likely"!

*"Yamaha Beemer" = Silver FZ6 w/magnetic BMW roundels over my tank's tuning forks & "NASA GUY" FL Tag.

Man, I'm going to be down there the weekend of the 20th. I'm no Fizzy, but i'll be bringing my motorcycle club in tow. I hope to see you all there.

And cold weather don't scare this big dog. I play in sub zero temps.

Put me down for a maybe. I really hated missing the one back in July. My wife and I are having our first baby at the end of this month, but I've been trying to get out there for a while. Hopefully I'll be able to work out the logistics and make it.. finally.

You will be absolutely insane after the concert! A perfrect mental set-up for riding the gap! Hope you can make it.

P.S.: Used to live in Memphis area. Back when you could run up and down the wolf river banks on your favorite dirt bike, occasionally dodging a 4wd vehicle.

I'm still working on a discount, but I assure you it won't be cheaper than $35. They will go for around $70 or a bit less but that's just a guess... still don't know.
Also, Fontana Village is just a suggestion. We can come up with another place to stay. 2 Wheel Inn is pretty cool too. So, we have about 2 months to plan; nothing is set in stone.

ped,
After what happened to my buddy Defyinertia, I will be taking my truck just in case the Dragon bites me and my bike is not driveable.
Did you check your PMs? I'm setting up a ride here in Cincy for next weekend.

I'll be taking my truck down too. If GFD is taking his own truck this time then I'll have room in my truck for one bike and one passenger.
