Default stock 2006 exhaust fit on a 2006?

I was going to buy a stock 05 exhaust (muffler) but he says it only fits 05. I want to cut i apart and take out all restriction and weld it back together. any takers?

it will sound like po po po po po ..... might as well go straight pipes from the collect and make a tip or something....having an empty rectangular box will sound like chitty chitty bang bang

someone here did do that once .... if you search hard enough he posted pics, diagrams and stuff.

As for the fit .... I see no reason y an 05 wouldn't fit on 06.
