FZ6If you’re looking for one bike to perform a multitude of missions, look no further.
Take it from Cycle World* Magazine - “For a more advanced rider looking for a bike to do it all, there is no other choice.”
Was able to get out yesterday and test a couple of mounting spots on the FZ6 for the www.helmetcamera.com I recently purchased. Again, no wheelies/endos/crazy stuff, just having fun with new camera angles. Was a nice day out, overcast sky but no rain.
It's interesting seeing the corner markings *after* the bike exits the corner. Also cool seeing the debris and leaves kick up behind me as well as seeing the tire marks on the road whiz by. Every now and then, I get caught behind a slow car in a corner, which of course you can't see, hehe. Speed bumps in turns
The camera is held on with industrial strength velcro. The electrical tape is just to make me feel better, lol. I stopped often at first to make sure everything stayed in place on the swingarm, no problems.

Damn it actually stayed on there behind held by nothing but a few pieces of electrical tape?
LOL, no.

Looks great! It's nice that you can change positions easily, and don't need to pick just one place to mount it permanently.
My favorite view is on the slider facing forward, but I'd prob try to aim it up just a little higher so it can see farther down the road.
Enjoy, and keep sharing the vids!
The forward facing on the frame slider was my favorte too. FramesliderCam has more staying power than the SwingarmCams. Although the others were cool too 'cause of the novelty factor.
Think I will try it on the left frame slider next time, more room to work with. Should be able to angle it a bit higher on that side. Will try backward as well as forward facing. Also, gonna try under the headlight cowling as well (just forward facing though, since not much happens to the radiator ). Maybe tomorrow I'll get a chance to test those spots out.
They also make interchangable lenses, can get wider angle or telephoto. The lens that came with the helmetcam seems like a good one, might be interesting to try out the others though. Only like $25/each I think.
Hoping next weekend to try it out in a group ride setting. That should be cool

yeah... cool until you realize that they're ALWAYS going to want you in the back of the pack so they'll have video of themselves riding

LOL, true. But then, I do have the option of pointing it backwards. So, I could be in front and still video them ;) At least until they fall too far back anyway...
