Payment has been sent to TechLine, confirmation of our order will probably be on Monday the 13th.


Time frame:
TechLine has ordered the seat cowls in the colours we need. They should have them in stock by Monday March 6th.
TechLine has shipped our cowls today March 10th. Should take a couple of weeks.
The seat cowls have arrived in the USA, March 20th.
I have the seat cowls and am packing them up to be shipped tomorrow, March 23rd.

Well the last group buy did work a little smother since it had a person/persons on point, which is really mut at this point.
What was done was figure the best price with total # of units.
To guarantee people were serious was pay half up front via paypal since the order was placed but the run on the units were like 3-4 months off from initial order date. In your case this time it sounds like there ready to receive monies, so who ever is going to be the point man will collect all money via paypal which included a rough guess of say 12.00 for shipping via USPS and a small fee of what ever the percentage paypal charged per transaction so the point person would not loose any money during this process, plus he has to pack and ship everything too. All units shipped to paypal confirmed addresses and verified via email or PM or a check was also allowed on last group buy but in this case it will be up to who ever is the point person.
Bottom line is your trusting the point person to order the right units in the right colors and shipped out to you and you have already payed in advance, just things to consider. Hope this helps some, then again maybe this was just me rambling on and on.
Oh the units could still take a month or so to get over the pond before they get distributed around so remember that too.

Thanks WTVa... It looks like I have been elected by default for this task lol.

I don't mind doing all the legwork and what have you. I just want to make sure everyone ends up happy, and that I don't lose money of course.

I was going to contact Erik and ask him about the shipping part. (I really hope he packages them all seperatly in one or two big boxes, and then all that would need to be done is bring each box to the Shipping Store... please say that's how it went last time lol. My gosh, boxes would cost a lot I am sure.

Anywhoo.. let's for now keep the people who are commited to the seat cowl posting in this thread and once we reach a deadline, or 6+ people post up, we will tackle the rest.

Actually they came in one or two boxes and the point person, you in this case needs to re-pack and ship so you will need access to boxes
Maybe Eric could ship extra boxes and packing material if you ask.

Count me in. The only problem is that I have never used paypal and I'd like to keep it that way if possible. Is there any other way of getting my money to you Enygma? BTW, Thanks a lot for stepping up and taking charge of this thing without initially intending to do so. I really appreciate your willingness to do the "legwork."
