He even uses a european model for his listing.

There are a couple of pretty good deals listed on the ebay now. Though I dont know as I would trust many of them. Seems as though this bike ripoff scheme is pretty prevalent these days.

It may be a scam, but I don't think so. He is asking for cash or check upon pickup - which I don't think anyone would give him that without seeing it. Just my 0.02

It is a picture of the 05 though.. and the description really sucks.. I don't know looks shady to me too... but hey I don't need one.. already got mine.

I don't see why you think its a scam except that he put the wrong photo up which happens more than you would think. Besides he says its local to NYC, anyone can go check it out before bidding.

Well, I was just throwing wood into the fire. This could be fine, I mean it's not like it's going to sell for 3500 anyway... the reserve is not met.. it could be for 5000. Who knows.. anyway I would have a hard time buying a bike that didn't hae actual pictures of the bike online anyway. If you are going through the effort to sell it on ebay, pay the extra couple bucks to throw up at least one real picture.

Good luck to anyone who wants it.. don't get beat up.
