Default Scorpions, T-Rex and Puig Oh My!

Almost done with the mods to my new FZ. Installed the Scorpions, frame sliders and windscreen yesterday.

I knew what to expect with the Scorps since I had those on my '05 FZ. I do, however, love the new tips. Much better looking than the old style.

The windscreen made a nice difference. I had a Puig on my old FZ, but it was mostly for looks as it didn't make a big difference. I think the re-design of the newer FZ cowels also helps. I am 5'-7" and got a little buffeting from the stocker, but it is considerably less with the new Puig (racing screen, not touring).

The T-Rex frame sliders were on in less than 5 minutes.

My lower cowel, shorty levers and fender eliminator should be here and on by next weekend.

Good choice on the mods. I like the Scorps and the sliders. The sliders are awesome! I've unfortunately had to use them on my FZ, and they definitely did their job. I'm not a huge fan of the Puig screen just because I don't like how it sticks up so high, but it does serve its purpose as well. You sound like you got all your mods planned out. Good luck!

I know what you mean by the screen. They can be an acquired taste.

I think this is the most I've spent on mods on a new bike in such a short period of time. I think having owned one before and knowing what is out there sped up the process!

T rex frame sliders saved my bike a lot of damage if there is any, when I dropped it on its right side moving from my backyard.
