Thanks man... I`d love to have my own SS custom shop but the problem is that I really don`t know that much about bikes, or about how to customize them... I watch American Chopper every once in a while, but that's it on the FZ I am kind of just doing my own thing without necessarly knowing what I am doing

Ok so I checked my helmet (Shoei RF1000) a little more carefully, and even though I could not find any internal damage, I still decided to replace it. It lived through 2 crashes, so it's time.

I wanted to find a shop selling the Scorpion EXO-1000 so I could try it out and see if I like it, but unfortunately, no-one around here seem to carry it in stock.
I did remember someone telling me Scorpion helmets are usually heavier and more noisy than Shoei or Arai, so I ended up going with another RF1000

This one is glossy black with a silver mirror shield

It's a good helmet. If you liked the first one, there is no reason to stray away from it. I have an RF-1000 in glossy black, but still have the clear screen on it so that I can wear my sunglasses under it and just take those off to ride at night.

+1, I have the RF-1000 also. My buddy has an Arai and the Scorpion. He saids the Scorp is definitely heavier than his Arai. I'm itching to buy a Shoei Multitec.

That's exactly what I thought... I am really happy with my Shoei, so why take a chance

My eyes are REALLY messed up, and I have to wear my glasses at all times, so no sunglasses for me.... I need the tinted shield. I never ride at night, and if I do, I swap the shields.

Since I saw Poutanen's thread about lasik, I am really considering doing that this year... it would really help with the helmet everyday.

Nice choice for the headlight. Someone mentioned bionicles, but it reminds me of this..
