Ahhh see you finaly completed the mod, it looks good with the HID's too.
I know I not around here as often as I used to but still check in now and then.

quick question about the r6 headlights, are the left and right sides separate? ex. my right side lens is broke and i found a headlight at a salvage yard with a good right but bad left, can they be switched out? im asking since you obviously had to take the r6 headlights apart

The headlight is one large unit, connected in the middle by a bridge of black plastic. Depending on what is wrong with each headlight, you may be able to piece together one complete one. For instance, if only the clear plastic lens is broken on each, you can remove one and put it on the other.

Sorry to resurrect the thread, but I'm just getting around to doing this.


I've got everything installed, and realized: I can't have a high beam! The FZ6 harness is for an H4, and with the H7 + adapter (taken from the FZ6 lowbeam), the bulb won't lock down in the R6 reflector.


If I take the adapter off, I can lock the bulb down fine, but I have no way to wire it up.


How did folks solve this problem?
